We've teamed up with KOCO to make the most beautiful hand-knitted sweaters, and support their work empowering women across Southern India.
Using recycled materials and traditional techniques, these amazing women create unique hand-knitted garments that will stand the test of time.
KOCO is a company founded in Brisbane, Australia dedicated to empower women in Southern India, equipping them with a variety of tools such as traditional knitting techniques, reading and writing, to gain financial independence and break the gender inequality in their villages.
Using reclaimed remnant yarns, these jumpers are knitted entirely by hand, making each piece a truly heirloom treasure.
The yarn is spun from leftover cotton and wool from recycled clothes that are separated into fibres and then colours, skipping the dying process. Every 1 kilo of yarn that is used for knitting saves 1.2 kilo of clothes going to landfill.
We aimto honour KOCO's story by bringing their creations to youand hopefully you will treasure these pieces forever.
