The ancient market place is one of the largest open-air markets in England and a series of pedestrianised lanes and alleyways make up the ‘Norwich Lanes’. Norwich Cathedral

Norwich Cathedral is a Christian presence in the heart of Norfolk. It was built to inspire by its size and magnificence. The Cathedral fills today’s visitors with a sense of awe and wonder. Norwich Cathedral is also the focus of both city and county life. As well as playing host to special civic and legal services, it is a venue for concerts, talks, exhibitions, degree ceremonies and other community events.

Choose from a selection of guided tours, which last 45 minutes or join the Evensong sung by the Cathedral Choir.

Norwich Castle
One of Norwich’s most famous landmarks, Norwich Castle was built by the Normans as a Royal Palace 900 years ago. Explore the Castle's history as a palace and later as a prison, and enjoy our fabulous collections of fine art, archaeology, and natural history as well as the Royal Norfolk Regimental Museum collections.

Colman's Mustard Shop and Museum

Housed in the historic art nouveau Royal Arcade near Norwich Market, the shop is a careful replica of a Victorian trade premises. It opened in 1973 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of J&J Colman's, The Colman's Mustard Shop & Museum was intended to be open for one year but it was so successful and popular it continued.

It stocks an extensive range of powder and prepared mustards, including a number of specialities made exclusively for the shop and a wide selection of mustard pots and spoons, gift packs, tea towels, Colman's memorabilia and local products.

Delia's Restaurant and Bar

A British icon, you can enjoy Delia Smith’s recipes cooked to her exacting standards in a beautifully ambient restaurant. The warm, friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere is perfect for celebrating a special occasion and the weekend getaway.
