E-Commerce is an exciting and fast-paced department within EAST. The team are responsible for the east.co.uk website and manage all online host stores showcasing the brand. They are tasked with looking after every detail that impacts trading and reflecting a consistent brand experience through all online channels. This includes areas such as product management, visual merchandising, graphic design, data analysis, online marketing and customer service. The team are committed to constantly improving the website and delivering an efficient service that is in line with the high standards translated across the EAST brand. They are innovative, enthusiastic, have strong technical skills and can react quickly to install changes that will drive sales growth.


Digital Marketing & Customer Insight Manager
You will be responsible for driving analysis, implementing learning and sharing insights across the business. Although the role’s primary focus is digital activity, there is also a strong focus on driving customer growth and profitability online and in store. The role requires a deep understanding of the customer through management of the CRM data.
Person specification:
  • 5yrs+ experience in digital marketing, ideally for a premium fashion/lifestyle brand
  • Proven experience in delivering quality traffic growth and new customer acquisition
  • Advanced understanding of Google Analytics and excel
  • Excellent understanding of digital marketing concepts, strategy and best practice
  • Extremely organised approach to all tasks and working to deadlines
  • Driven and relishes taking on responsibility and ownership. A self starter, that knows how to plan, gets buy in, and gets things done 

Digital Marketing Assistant
You will be supporting the development and implementation of all on/off site marketing campaigns and content. Monitoring and analysing the marketing campaigns, PPC and managing affiliate relationships.  
Person specification:
  • 2 yrs+ experience of digital marketing, ideally within a fashion retail business
  • Experience in PPC and SEO, ideally Google Adwords certified
  • Strong understanding of the principles of digital marketing and general marketing strategies 
  • A good understanding of and keen interest in social media: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest etc
Ecommerce Manager
You will be the gatekeeper of the East website and customer experience, ensuring its smooth operation and delivering a best of breed customer experience.  Responsible for managing the team to deliver the day-to-day tasks that meet our commercial and creative goals. With your finger on the pulse, you know the status of everything that touches the website from product launches to graphics updates, from multi-channel promotional campaigns to social media complaints, from fraud mitigation to technical issues. You guide and drive the team to meet all deadlines, instilling a culture of passion and perfection.
An area of particular focus is content development.  You will bring the East brand to life by creating commercial yet engaging content experiences across the website to broaden the customer experience.
Person Specification:
  • Minimum 3+ years experience in an eCom content/operations role
  • Strong commercial acumen and extensive knowledge of the drivers of online engagement and the mechanisms to influence them
  • Good technical understanding of web development and Google Analytics
  • Experience with Amplience, Livechat, Sagepay and Red desirable
Graphic Designer
The Junior Graphic Designer will be responsible for delivering creative excellence through design and delivering the brand vision. This role will predominantly be working on campaigns and developing seasonal concepts for the eCommerce department against a busy calendar. Understanding the online customer journey and engagement at different touch points is key to success. You will bring a strong understanding of digital design to the business. 
We are looking for someone creative, digitally savvy yet commercial. You must be full of ideas and passion whilst retaining a strong sense of who the customer is and design to meet their aspirations. You should posses a true interest in design, lifestyle and fashion and combine this with digital innovation.
Person Specification:
  • Proven digital design experience
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams and to prioritise effectively to ensure deadlines are met
  • Ability to work quickly from concept creation to finished product
  • Detail orientated and deadline driven
  • Excellent knowledge of photoshop and dreamweaver
  • Proficient knowledge of illustrator, indesign, HTML, CSS and experience using CMS
  • Proactive and able to show initiative and ideas to constantly improve the editorial quality of the site
